Beatryce's Awards: Appreciation Award from the "Save Our Black Youth" Conference (Columbus Lowndes Recreation Authority); the National Madame C.J. Walker Award for business excellence, a recognition award from the New York State Assembly, a public service award from the U.S. Department of Labor for her outstanding contributions to America’s working men and women, and the Oni Award from the International Black Women's Congress. She was chosen as a "Winthrop Rockefeller Distinguished Lecturer" at the University of Arkansas.
