Beatryce
Nivens is
a highly respected Business Leadership Expert, Author and
Motivational Speaker. She has spoken to over 100,000 people at
various colleges, universities, women's groups, African American
professional associations, etc. By helping people obtain or move
up in their positions, she has dramatically changed lives. Her
specialty is women in management and inclusion in the workplace.
She is the author of the

The Black Career Woman's Guide (Doubleday). In 2008, she
wrote So You Want To Become..a Career Guide for Young People
(Lorraine Monroe Institute). Rising To The Top: 15 Black
CEOs and Business Leaders Help You Succeed is her latest
book. In this pioneering book, readers receive advice from top
corporate CEOs to entrepreneurs.
For several
years, she has partnered with the League of Black Women (LBW)'s
Global Research Institute to produce research on women of color.
She is the coauthor of the groundbreaking “Risk
and Reward: Black Women Leading Out on a Limb” , an
overview of key findings from the LBW’s national Risk and
Reward Survey (developed with a team of researchers at
DePaul University). She also coauthored and wrote the LBW’s
"Bi-Cultural Leadership" section for its "Having
Our Say: Fostering the Leadership Potential of Black Women in
Corporate America: Support for Retention and Engagement"
conducted in partnership between LBW and Booz Hamilton. She
wrote the report’s "Bi-Cultural Leadership" section.
Beatryce Nivens is a coach
with specialties in executive coaching and career counseling for
executives and others who want to reach the top. She has helped
numerous people find new careers or start businesses as a Career
Management Consultant for major corporations including J.P.
Morgan Chase Career Services deemed as “the benchmark” and
an “Exemplar of Excellence” in HR Programs by the American
Banker. In the role of Senior Associate at Drake Beam Morin
and Lee Hecht Harrison (the world's largest outplacement
companies), she has provided executive coaching and career
counseling for American Express, Verizon, the NY/NJ Port
Authority, IBM and other major companies. As a testament to
her coaching abilities, she was also selected as a top coach for
the "Virtual
Career Coaching Week" where NYC career coaches
gave advice to webinar listeners.
The author is
an experienced media person. She has appeared in numerous
newspapers, magazines and websites across the country. She has
written for or been quoted as an expert for the following

Black Enterprise.com; Ebony; The Network Journal; Unity
